- In January 1995, Iridesense was assembled
to play then High Schooler Rick Eberle's 12th Grade Battle of The
Bands with Rick on guitar and vocals, his sister Tara Eberle on Bass, Rob
Viccari on Lead Guitar and Rich Drouin on drums. What a difference over
a decade makes! The past 14 years have seen the band go from these
humble beginnings to becoming a force in the music business; plus the
female lead singer and the drummer are now even married!
TV? Their music can currently be heard on Nickelodeon in the shows Zoey
101 (featuring Jaime Lynn Spears) and Drake & Josh. They've also been
featured on MTV shows such as Pimp My Ride, Room Raiders, NEXT and on
an episode of the show "Boiling Points".
Contests? Iridesense was a semi finalist in the Q104.3 Mojito Band
Search, in the Shift 2 Nissan Battle of the Bands, and were also semi
finalists (top 20 out of 1000's of entries nationwide) in the National "Be A Radio Star" Competition where they received airplay in rotation at Z100 radio in NY in addition to a nationally broadcast radio interview with Elvis Duran from the Z Morning Zoo and Actress Amanda Bynes.
Big Gigs? They've played for 13,000 sports fans as between period entertainment at a New York Islanders NHL game, played sold out engagements with Spin Doctors, Something Corporate and Gin Blossoms at the now defunct The Downtown in Farmingdale, and their performance for the
nationwide Verizon FiOs Festival had a corresponding web video contest online for the song "Gasoline" - check out the winning video on Youtube.
Their previous cds include a 1997 release "Cool Dream Tomorrow" on Rock
Diva records, and a 2001 release "Iridesense" on LLJ Records, and a

- Recent Gigs
- Their last gig was at The Blender Theatre in NYC opening for The Proclaimers!! They also played for 4,000 people in Northport, LI this past summer.
