BIO
Mora's birth name is Jamal Willie Morant. Jamal was born at Woodhull Medical and Mental health center located in the city of Brooklyn, New York. At 1052am Tot Olinda Miller received her second child and first from Jamal's father Willie Morant. Jamal grew up in an apartment with his grandma Janice Morant. While living with his grandma Jamal was enrolled in PS115 were he put in two years of his life to elementary school. As Jamal attended school his mother who was fed up with the crime rate in Brooklyn decided that it was time to move. Tot told Jamal's father Willie to find a house out in the south and he found a home in the city of Columbia, South Carolina. Jamal put in his two years in at 7 oaks elementary located in the heart of Columbia to hit Marietta, Georgia at age 10. A year later something detrimental happen to Jamal change his life. His parents went there seperate ways which left his mother to be the only income for the family. To past time Jamal played football his local school area. At age 16 another detrimental event occurred in his life which brought his family to a new low. His older brother Gamal Miller was sentence to 5 years in prison for possession of a deadly weapon, robbery, and breaking and entering. With no masculinant figures in his life Jamal then grew into roll which provided such concerns. He began fighting with his mother constantly. Fighting with his mother forced him to moved out of his house at age 17. Once he moved out he enrolled himself into Georgia Perimeter College which after a semester he dropped out. At the time he dropped out was born his first son Nicholas Morant. The next year Jamal picked up a second job as a punch operator in a warehouse while already working at UPS starting it his previous year. There he had a pen, pad, and a really good friend by the name of Brian Jackson. Their him and Brian wrote day by day aspiring to make a group called Urban Currency. The group consisted of four members: James Swearengin, Brian Jackson, Lawrence Bynum, and Jamal Morant. From there they recorded daily to ultimately achieve a album called "What We Stand For," but as there is in every group, comes bumps in the road. Lawrence went to the military, Brian took a different career route, and James started Isso productions. Feeling like it was his best oppurtunity to better his dream Jamal decided that music was the route to go. He then collabed with James to create "Don't Know, Get Low" as his first hit single released in Febuary 2009. Jamal is currently working on a mixtape called "The Versatile" which should premiered in March 2010.
