- Who is Looney Toonz? The question has been asked over and over many times and still the answer remains unspoken. Is he a wannabe hip hop rap artist? Or is he the real deal? Who is Looney Toonz? Why does he call himself Looney Toonz? Is there a purpose to his name? Who is Looney Toonz!!?? Daniel aka Looney Toonz was born on July 17, 1991 in Seattle WA. He began rapping at the age of five after being inspired by some of the worlds greatest hip hop icons ever in the history of hip hop. He is one of many rappers in the Northwest to be known for such great skills, Lyrics, poetry, swag, and slang when it comes down to rapping or music in general. When asked by friends, family or fans “how does music make you feel” Daniel has been known to reply. “I take rapping very seriously, It’s not just music to me. It’s a lifestyle. It’s true I may talk about things I don’t have or never seen before, and I'm known to take heat for that. See people ask me all the time what does that mean when I talk about those things I don’t posses or seen before? And I just reply by saying; it’s away to get away from all this drama within our world. It’s away to dream and to wonder….to ask your own self what if?…. What if I had this? What would I do with it? Or how would I react if I seen this in real life? See you never know if what you’re rapping and/or speaking about on a song is reality in somebody else’s eyes. And to me that’s the beauty of Hip-Hop…. a matter fact that’s the beauty of music in general and I can truly say that’s why I’m proud to be a part of it.” Daniel “Looney Toonz” Warren was raised in California as a child and even began rapping in Cali. He says his inspiration comes from rap artist like 2pac,The Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg, Easy E, Big Pun, ODB and more…. “You can listen to my music and think or say anything you want about it. No one can judge me like I Judge myself I’m my own critic, No one can hurt me or put me down, no one can take my dreams or achievements away from me and no one can tell me who I am and isn’t, I’m my own person…I’m Looney Toonz.” These words were spoken by the young rap artist Looney Toonz while gathered in front of a group of other local rap artist at a downtown battle in Tacoma,WA. Daniel “Looney Toonz” warren received the name "Looney Toonz" by a variety of people. {Some said I was a straight} "LoonieTic" and believes I was a bit crazy, I loved watching cartoons and creating things whether it was drawing or with music I enjoyed doing it. My favorit Looney Tune was the "Taz" because people said we was just crazy. So I decided to take the LoonieTic, cut it in half and take out the"I" and put a "Y" in it and make it "Looney". Thats what Looney means (Crazy side) But I believe my creative mind makes up for it so thats where "Toonz" comes in. If you were to ask me how I rate my music? I probably wouldn’t say. I'm known to have cocky but sensitive attitude that keeps notice out here in the music world. As a father of one, Looney Toonz is a huge role model in the rap community. He’s often told he acts older than his age and can do anything he wants to if he puts his mind into it. “There’s no limitation to what you can do in life I don’t care what anybody says..as long as you keep your head up you can make anything happen.” Daniel joined the Villains of the City (V.O.C.) at the age of four-teen and has been and outstanding member of the group ever since. His brother/mentor /friend Chris ”City” Day helps Daniel stay on his toes and makes sure he’s doing the right things and taking the right steps to becoming a better rap artist. Making hit after hit and becoming more known after his #1 single “Twurk” Being played at Clover park High Schools,Willison High and alot more schools and clubs. Daniel” Looney Toonz” Warren has a great fan base, great music and is known as an outstanding rap artist in the Northwest and has just begun to rise.
