- The story of The Flanders begins in 2002 when they decided to start their own band and make renditions of classic songs in new styles.
Their first album called ‘Rough Around The Edges’(2009) delivers just what the title implies: a band unafraid to show itself as it is, with the few minor ‘imperfections’ typical of live performances after almost seven years away from stages and with no prior rehearsals.
The Flanders are an ideal mixture of all time classics and new musical experimentation, the definitive proof that creativity can also be shown by re-creating.
