Beluga Heights' JR Is An Unstoppable "Hit Factory".
Hitmaker and multi-platinum music producer, Jonathan Rotem's Imprint Beluga Heights has not 1, but 2 Songs in the Billboard top 10. The label has impressively released two new artists at the end of 2009 that have taken the charts by storm competing with mainstays like Jay-Z, Beyonce and Brittany Spears. Their first artist signing Sean Kingston, went number 1 with his retro laden "Beautiful Girls" in 2008.
Currently the label is launching the career of artist Iyaz, with his first single "Replay" which is holding #3 position after peaking at #2 on Billboards hot 100. Jason Derulo, the labels sophmore signing, holds at # 8 after peaking at #1 on the same chart.
This is a result of producer J.R. Rotem, who has produced multi-platinum hits for Sean Kingston (Beautiful Girls, Take You There), Rihanna (S.O.S.), Leona Lewis (Better In Time), Rick Ross (The Boss) and Plies (Bust it Baby), just to name a few.
Rotem has recently inked a deal with Warner Bros for his imprint and is currently developing releases for forthcoming artists,"Auburn" and "Mann".
